Funds support the implementation of an oral history-based, intergenerational theater project that aims to bridge and strengthen community ties in Providence’s diverse Fox Point neighborhood. Fourth-through-sixth grade classes at Vartan Gregorian Elementary School will learn about the history of their neighborhood by conducting oral histories with their families and participating community members, which will culminate in a performance showcasing segments of these stories.
